1. Conducting fire inspections: During the inspection, the fire officer determines the areas at risk of catching fire and the remedial measures needed to be taken to avoid it. The areas under review include electrical circuits, gas cylinders, lighting systems, etc. The officer also warns against gas leaks by testing sniffers for leakage.
